Find Your Shoe Personality

People have many different ways of looking at their shoes. These different ways affect how and when a person purchases new shoes as well as the type of shoes purchased. There are four main types of people who wear shoes. Of course, you will also note some sub categories within these main categories. See if you recognize yourself in the descriptions below.

The Ho Hum Person

This type of person looks at their shoes as simply being there to protect their feet from the elements of weather and potential harmful items that might be on the ground. As long as the shoes fits the occasion, such as a rain boot during a rain storm, for example, or heels during a formal event, these people give little notice to the style nor do they tend to look for colors other than basic black, brown or navy blue.

The Fashion Forward Shoe Person

These people are the ones that are aware of the latest fashions in shoes, almost before they seem to happen at times. Although these fashionable people are nearly always women, there are men who meet these specifications, These fashion conscious people are the ones who have the latest in shoe fashions in their closets. They are excited about the option of wearing purple heels or fur lined boots with fringe like Ugg boots. You will find them wearing outfits with coordinating shoes many of the times. They are also the people that everyone turns to when they want fashion advice about their footwear.

The Practical Shoe Person

Nearly always putting practicality before other options, these people are likely to have shoes that are sturdy and well made. In addition, they will almost always have sensible heels and flats to wear for both formal and casual occasions. Black, and sometimes brown or other neutral colors, makes up the dominant color scheme of their shoe collections. They are willing to forgo fashionable shoes for comfortable shoes if they cannot find one pair that meets both criteria.

The Sports Fanatic

This die-hard sports fan will have different shoes for every sport they play. You will find hiking sandals for those summertime hikes in their closet. You will also see the cross trainers that they wear on their frequent workouts. Soccer and baseball cleats will share space with the pool shoes and hiking boots in the closet of these exercise focused people. Well-made and comfortable shoes will be a priority for these people.
